ACS-SA 18th Symposium

ACS-SA at UC San Diego is partnering with the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry to host our annual Undergraduate Research Symposium! The event provides our student researchers with a great opportunity to practice science communication through a poster presentation. Presenters are scored by over 50 judges from UCSD Faculty and industry and awards are given to winning presenters from several divisions. This event will be held May 16th, from 4PM-7PM in Price Center Ballroom East.
Chemistry Career Day

Chemistry Career Day is an annual event to connect student chemists with industrial chemists. Company representatives presented their roles and journey in industry. Students then connected with representatives from companies including Bristol Myers Squibb, General Atomics, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, UCSD Health, Biolegend, Wildcat Discovery Technologies, and Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals.
Annual Chembee 🐝 Social

ACS-SA hosted an event to test our Chemistry knowledge via an exciting competition. Challenges such as hitting the griddy were performed while answering difficult chemistry problems. The competition ended in a competitive 1 point difference!
ACS 17th Banquet

ACS held their final event of the year at the Natural Sciences Building. Rebranding to the American Cake Society, ACS members came to celebrate and congratulate themselves on making it throughout the year with free dinner, cake, and games!
